The Tuamotu islands are the oldest islands in French Polynesia. At the beginning it took volcanoes to shape this archipelago of islands like scattered confetti across the sea…Then nature tirelessly worked on them, touched them up and refined them for thousands of years so that today they have become a thin, coconut planted sandy line enclosing their lagoon. Today the islands are like turquoise jewel-cases capable of creating gems; no wonder that it is here where fascinating Tahitian black pearls are formed. Our pearl farm, Tikahera, located on the atoll of Ahe, produces a range of exquisite, dream-like pearls in a stunning and preserved environment.
